Arranged around the theme "Policy Options for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth," the conference will assess the global pandemic and economic recovery and the mounting pressures on labor markets, supply chains, and price levels, as well as enduring challenges including economic inequality, fiscal imbalances, and climate change.

The NABE Policy Conference regularly attracts 500+ economists, analysts, policymakers, and business leaders. NABE is working closely with the host hotel to ensure that the event will be held as safely as possible. As with the 2021 NABE Annual Meeting, all participants will be
required to show proof of vaccination. If you attended the 2021 NABE Annual Meeting, your vaccination proof was verified at that time and will not need to be provided again. NABE strongly recommends attendees obtain a booster shot and complete a COVID-19 test prior to arriving at the conference.

NABE will enforce the District of Columbia mask policy that is in effect at the time of the conference. As of February 28, the mask mandate in Washington, DC, has been lifted.

A number of additional health and safety precautions have been taken, including:
  • Ample event space allows for social distancing.

  • BinaxNOW rapid COVID-19 self-tests courtesy of Abbott Labs and masks will be available onsite.

  • Handshake, elbow bump, or wave? Badges include optional color-coding system allowing you to signal your willingness to interact.
