This webinar will highlight new economic data products released by the Census Bureau including high frequency and administrative records data products. This webinar will include presentations on the Census Bureau Index of Economic Activity (IDEA), a monthly index -- calculated daily -- that is an aggregation of 15 of the Census Bureau’s primary economic data series that provides a single time series constructed as a weighted combination; the Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS) which is a survey collecting data every two weeks providing insight into the state of the economy by providing timely data for key economic measures and business expectations about future conditions; and the Nonemployer Statistics by Demographics series (NES-D) which leverages existing individual-level administrative records to assign demographic characteristics to the universe of nonemployer businesses.
