Tech economists are increasingly contributing to open-source projects that run econometric models faster and more reliably. Two contributors to the popular pyfixest package, Alexander Fischer (Trivago) and Apoorva Lal (Amazon), will walk us through new capabilities in open-source tooling, their experience building an open-source community, and tips for how to get involved.
