NABE is proud to introduce Econ Career Week, August 19-23, 2024! Whether you are on the market for an applied economics job or are interested in learning about various career paths in economics, Econ Career Week is an all-virtual one-stop-shop for you to connect with hiring managers, recruiters, and economists from industry, government, and consulting.  And the best news? It’s free for all candidates! Register here

NABE's inaugural Econ Career Week features four (4) one-hour webinars (plus, a preview webinar on July 30!), which are designed to help you better understand the economics job marketplace in 2024 and 2025, hiring and interview practices, and current job market dynamics. PLUS! As a participant, you can sign up for unlimited visits to the Employer virtual booths during the week – these are 45-minute sessions conducted on Zoom in which you can speak directly with economists and recruiting managers from participating organizations. Each booth will feature short presentations from the firm’s recruiters and economists, followed by time to interact directly with the company representatives. See the Econ Career Week schedule and participating employers below!

How will the Virtual Recruiter Booth work?

Virtual booth sessions will last 45 minutes, and time slots will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The format of your session is up to you, but we suggest having an economist or hiring manager talk about the work of economists at the organization, a recruiter speak on the hiring process, and then Q&A with the candidates.

All employers will also be featured on a Career Week employer information webpage and receive complimentary job postings on NABE’s career site, EconJobs.org, until December 31, 2024.
