The National Association for Business Economics (NABE) and Banque de France will co-host an International Economic Symposium at the Banque de France, 31 rue Croix des Petits Champs, 75001 Paris, France.
Check-in for the event begins on Monday, May 22 at 8:30am. The conference begins at 9:15am and is expected to conclude at 12:45pm on Tuesday, May 23, with an optional lunch afterward. An official dinner will also be held the evening of Monday, May 22 at the Banque de France. In addition, optional informal events for attendees will take place on Sunday, May 21 and the evening of Tuesday, May 23. More details on these events can be found below.
Organized around the theme of “Risks, Recovery, and Structural Transitions in the Global Economy,” the symposium will explore the critical challenges, emerging trends, and diverse factors shaping the United States and European economies in 2023 and beyond, and the implications these currents have for US and European businesses.
This is NABE's eighth International Economic Symposium; the inaugural event was cohosted in Munich by the Deutsche Bundesbank in 2015. Subsequent events were co-hosted by the OECD in Paris, by Banca d'Italia in Rome, by Banco de Espana in Madrid, by the Riksbank in Stockholm, and by the Deutsche Bundesbank in Eltville am Rhein, Germany. The 2021 event was held virtually.
