The NABE Tech Economics Conference (TEC2018) features a Industry Job Fair that is designed to deliver the resumes of top economics candidates to employers from leading tech firms and other firms hiring candidates with highly technical backgrounds and training in economics. Employers will contact candidates directly to set up interviews during TEC2018 or offline at another time. 

For Candidates

Conference attendees may submit their resumes at no charge; other candidates not attending the conference may submit their resume for $15. All resumes will be compiled into a resume book which will be dispatched to the employers prior to the event. Employers will contact candidates directly to set up interviews during the TEC2018 or offline at another time.

Ready to submit your resume?

1. TEC2018 conference attendees can submit their resumes at no charge.
2. Pay the $15 resume submission fee for non-attendees.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with further details on how to submit your resume. Note: Please submit as soon as possible as the first batch of resumes will be sent to employers on Monday, September 17. This represents your best chance to have an employer contact you for an interview at TEC2018. The final deadline to have your resume provided to employers onsite at the event is Friday, October 19. No resumes will be collected for employer distribution after that date.

NOTE: Discounted registration is available for Ph.D. candidates and full time students.

For Employers

Need to hire a Ph.D. or senior-level economist? Register as an employer at the TEC2018 Industry Job Fair for $150 and meet top candidates with highly technical backgrounds and advanced training in economics. All employers will receive resumes for scheduling interviews with candidates onsite at TEC2018 in a provided room or offline at another time. Onsite interviewing hours at the InterContinental San Francisco will be on Sunday, October 28 from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Monday, October 29 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Tuesday, October 30 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Employers also have the option of purchasing an exhibit booth in the Expo Hall to meet candidates and network with conference attendees.
